The coverage does not cover going to ER facility unless an overnight stay is required, then it is covered. Charges for services received at the ER (i.e. doctor/medicine) are covered forIllnesses and Injuries not otherwise excluded by the plan.

When you purchase the Atlas Series for at least 3 months you are eligible for the Incidental Home Country Coverage, which will provide coverage in your home country during one incidental trip of up to 15 days.
No, you will not be turned down, as the Atlas Series plans are guaranteed issued plans. There is a look back period for pre-existing conditions of 2 years prior to the certificate effective date for any pre-existing condition. The only exception is coverage provided under the Acute Onset of a Pre-existing Condition benefit. Please refer to the Atlas exclusions page of this website for complete definitions.
Yes. Cancellation requests received after the effective date will be subject to the following conditions:
1. A $25 cancellation fee will apply
2. Only the unused portion of the plan cost will be refunded
3. Only members who have no claims are eligible for cancellation.
